SD-Wishees Tap Kick off meeting

SD-WISHEES TAP Kick-off Meeting

The SDWISHEES project partners are convening on February 20 and 21 for the
Thematic Annual Programming (TAP) Kickoff meeting. This meeting marks the launch  of the TAP Action, an initiative within SDWISHEES designed to foster collaboration and  knowledge sharing across a network of research and innovation projects.

About the TAP Action

The SDWISHEES TAP (Thematic Annual Programming) Action aims to create a network of nationally/regionally funded research and innovation projects dealing with the monitoring and characterisation of the impacts of hydroclimatic extreme events on cultural heritage, resilience, and adaptation strategies. The expected outcomes of the SDWISHEES TAP Action include the sharing of knowledge and data for enhancing cultural heritage protection, the exchange of data and knowledge, the transfer of expertise, and the enhancement of crosssector collaboration for the sustainable management of cultural heritage in Europe and beyond.

Tap Kickoff meeting overview

The TAP Kickoff meeting serves as the launching event to introduce the TAP governance and objectives to the selected projects, providing clarification on the processes involved.

Expected Outcomes:

Introduce participating projects and identify potential areas for collaboration.
Discuss objectives for collaboration, such as publishing a common scientific paper, producing a policy brief, or exchanging data. These objectives will result in the initial sketch of the TAP’s Implementation Plan, which will be completed after the kickoff.
Elect a Scientific Coordinator to ensure the scientific coordination of TAP Action activities and lead the development of the TAP Implementation Plan.

Participating projects

The TAP Kickoff meeting includes 9 projects from 5 different countries: Romania, Greece, Malta, Moldova, and France. These projects cover diverse themes, including
cultural heritage, climate change, IoT monitoring platforms, 3D technology, adaptation policy, ecological restoration, urban engineering, and naturebased solutions. Additional projects may join the TAP initiative up to 6 months after TAP launch.
